Welcome To
The Wine Cabaret

What is The Wine Cabaret?
Cabaret is a form of entertainment that features song and dance. These theatrical performances are usually performed at restaurants or nightclubs with a stage, seating with tables for dining and drinking wine while watching the performance.

Here at The Wine Cabaret.com you too can be a part of the venue by sharing your wine experiences. Let me start by saying, "I am not a wine expert!" I just love wine. In my wine experience, I have tasted many wines. From the highly rated and expensive to the low end, "great" bargains. There is one truth that stands out--the wines that I have enjoyed the most are varietals that are recommended by family and friends--everyday people.

"Come all ye experts and amateurs! Ye Sommeliers and novices!"

When you visit The Wine Cabaret, you will begin a journey of wine appreciation. From the novice to the Sommelier, you will experience (and hopefully share your own) personal stories of wine excursions, wine recommendations, wine tours and everything in-between. If you belong to a wine of the month club, share those great finds. Do you have a wine recipe? Perhaps you make your own wine or better yet, do make your own rhubarb wine? We want to hear about it, so get on stage and start performing!

Do you ever find yourself standing in the wine section of your local supermarket or specialty wine store staring at hundreds of red and white wines? From Riesling and Chardonnay to Cabernet and Pinot Noir, choosing a wine can be daunting. Like me, I am sure that many of you have stood there just staring, trying to figure out what to buy. Is it the label that attracts you? Or perhaps a "2 for 1" sale? Has this ever happened to you? After a stressful day, you come home to find your latest online purchase of a red wine varietal that "looked interesting and well-priced." With great anticipation you uncork it; allow it to aerate then grab what you think is the "appropriate" stemware (stemless, perhaps?) and finally pour, inhale then sip... Disappointment! It is at this point that you realize, "I need some help!" That is where The Wine Cabaret comes in.

If You live in Southern California, don't forget this May, the Santa Clarita Valley Wine Classic will be held at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia.

Were just getting started, so feel free to browse around.
