In this little backwoods town....

Who would have thought as I approached this tiny North Carolina Vineyard located in Lexington that I, a total wine snob would stumble upon one of the most amazing Riesling's that I have ever tasted.

Traveling across the country and reviewing wineries is my job- so pulling into these small town vineyards is something I'm used to. Being swept off my feet by a selection of grapes infused together perfectly to create a divine taste was not something I expected.

I found my Favorite Riesling t RayLen Vineyards. Surrounded by evergreens and in the nice fall climate I had to catch my breath the taste and setting were both so perfect. It was 2 years ago that I first visited that winery, I have since been back in just plain fun 3 or 4 times to sit in their tasting room and enjoy their wine.
